As a quantitative finance project manager while attending Fudan, he conducted an empirical research on RMB’s real exchange rate using extended Engle-Granger model. His task included adopting asymmetric threshold co-integration method to explore relation between China’s trade balance and RMB’s real effective exchange rate.
Prior to attending Cornell University, he interned at HSBC global banking department. He assisted managers to conduct trade finance as well as credit analysis for clients and got an in-depth view of banking industry. His motivation for joining the Financial Engineering program comes from the desire for a better understanding of financial markets as well as to combine his analytical and quantitative skills.
