To successfully manage an in-person fall semester during a pandemic, Cornell only had to turn to its own School of Operations Research & Information Engineering for a solution. This real-world challenge found its way into the classroom where students worked alongside faculty to develop the protocols that would allow Cornell to safely open campus.
