Vidita Gawade received her bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers University. For her design project, she worked with Union Pacific Railroad and her student team to help automate creation of Stringline graph to visualize train flow, and simulated traffic scenarios to improve traffic flow.
Through her experiences, she got exposure to both the technical and project management side to industry. She interned with JPMorgan Chase & Co in summer of 2017 as a technology analyst and in summer of 2016 as an operations analyst. As an operations analyst, she got to work with the Client Profitability Modeling process within Business Architecture and Transformation. Lastly, in summer of 2014, as a research assistant to the Rutgers Discovery Informatics Institute, she compared implementations of machine learning techniques.
As past president of the Rutgers Chapter of Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers and team-player in projects, she enjoys collaborating, communicating ideas, and connecting people. This year, she aims to get a deeper foundation in data analytics through her classes.
Finally, she recently ran a half marathon, and, with her passion for swimming, she next plans a sprint triathlon.
