Shriram Subramanian is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Operations Research & Information Engineering. While at Cornell, Shriram will also be finishing his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 3.5 years. He is involved in a senior design project with Prof. Zellman Warhaft, is a teaching assistant and is also serving as the Organizational Committee President of AIESEC, an international student organization. He has also been involved with Snakearm, an engineering project team and also served as a member of the Engineering Student Council.

Shriram developed an interest for operations and consulting during his internship with WorleyParsons, an engineering consultancy firm, in the summer. There he undertook an active role where he was in constant communication with clients and was involved in all aspects of project work right from problem formulation and scheduling to project control and cost risk analysis.

Prior to WorleyParsons, Shriram interned at Contech Engineering, an engineering and fabrication company where he worked closely with the Production & Planning department and was responsible for monitoring the performance of critical work centers on the production line.

Upon completion of his Master’s degree, Shriram will pursue his career in consulting or manufacturing.
