Shiying Wang graduated from the Georgia Institute in 2013, with a B.S. in Industrial and System Engineering. Upon graduation from Cornell in May 2015, she hopes to work in an energetic, growing company where she can leverage data analysis and problem solving in a motivated team.

In 2012, Shiying started her co-op program at Briggs & Stratton production plant in McDonough, GA. As the only co-op in the past seven years, she was given a lot of responsibilities for carrying projects and delivering on-time results. The scope of the responsibility ranged from understanding the manufacturing process to managing the process to its optimal efficiency level. She was also able to work on many cross-departmental projects such as lot size optimization, assembly line balancing and layout redesign.

Shiying spends her free time on pastry arts. She was a study at the French Pastry School and graduated with honor. She also has experience working in fine dining as a pastry intern.
