Ryan graduated from Auburn University with dual degrees in Industrial & Systems Engineering and Polymer & Fiber Engineering and a minor in Business.

Ryan spent his senior year doing undergraduate research in the Industrial & Systems Engineering department, working on projects using heuristic algorithms, first for solving large assignment problems related to unmanned aerial vehicle surveillance and reconnaissance, and then in the context of a modified vehicle routing problem for food delivery services. Additionally, Ryan’s senior design project was on designing an algorithm for assessing the potential benefit of using laser guided vehicles in warehouse operations.

Ryan played lacrosse at Auburn and in his spare time enjoys juggling, reading, and solving Rubik’s cubes.
