Biography

Peiying “Helen” Huang received her bachelor’s of science degree in Operations Research and Engineering from Cornell University. In her undergraduate research, she transformed the infection process of Anthrax into an Attack-Response Optimization model by developing and validating analytic approximations using linear programming.

While interning at Citigroup Markets Division in the summer of 2017, she developed statistical models to explore price correlations between macroeconomic drivers and industry movements. During her summer internship at HSBC Global Banking in 2016, she conducted extensive research for client portfolios, developed financial projection and value analysis models, and identified new banking opportunities to optimize the portfolio return by 2%.

As the former Vice President of Operations at Cornell Society of Women in Business, she has not only acquired superior organizational skills, but also become capable of delivering clear and concise ideas to a general audience.

Helen is excited to pursue a career in trading and structured finance upon graduation. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, kayaking, and movies.
