Huang received his Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and statistics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During his time there, he participated in an investment strategy project using market capitalizations and found his passion in quantitative finance.

While interning at Altfest Personal Wealth Management during the summer of 2016, Huang worked as an investment research analyst. There, he was responsible for analyzing factors that drove risk in investments across asset classes and optimizing portfolios to ensure risk exposure was in line with the investment objective. He also participated in other financial planning and investment research projects. While interning at Bank of China during the summer of 2015, Huang worked as a summer analyst and assisted with managing a loan portfolio and maintaining the risk management process. In addition to applying his knowledge to building models, he conducted equity research and provided presentations to clients. It was during these experiences that Huang truly found his passion for finance.

Huang has dedicated much of his academic career to exploring and understanding the quantitative finance realm. In addition, he performs best when coordinating with teammates and completing projects. With strong quantitative and interpersonal skills, Huang is eager to pursue a career in risk management and investment research.
