Gal Hulli graduated with honors from Koc University, a top-tier engineering school in Turkey, with a B.S. in industrial engineering. During his bachelor’s studies, he developed a case about the representativeness of the sample space according to the population and conducted a nonlinear, multiple regression analysis along with the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model that evaluates the relative performance of the sample spaces.

In the summer of 2008, Gal interned in treasury department at one of the leading banks in Turkey, Finansbank, where he got a deep and wide exposure to Derivative Securities and Fixed Income Rates including structuring different products, executing orders in Futures and building spreadsheets for traders.

More recently in the summer of 2009, he interned at Finance Asset Management where he traded in ISE-100 (Istanbul Stock Exchange) and excelled in structuring and hedging ETFs along with the close-ended mutual fund portfolios.

Upon graduation from the Financial Engineering program, Gal plans to bring his quantitative and analytical abilities to trading or financial modeling.

In his free time he enjoys playing basketball which he did professionally for six years and has many achievements such as 2003 Maccabiah Games. He also likes to play poker as well as travelling.
