Caroline Troude completed her Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics & Industrial Engineering at Mines Nancy, a prestigious French engineering school.

Last summer, she worked as a process engineer in a packaging company where she solved the defect problem of holed tubs. Her strong engineering background allowed her to understand the wide range of variables involved, and thus extract and analyze relevant data to make evidence-based recommendations.

Last year during her academic research project, she used data mining techniques to perform sentiment analysis on a database that she created.

At Mine Nancy, Caroline was elected President by Mines Services, a non-profit student organization similar to a consulting firm. While being at the head of a 16-member team, she implemented a three-year strategic plan that embodied the organization’s vision and mission. She maintained proper financial and organizational management year-round to ensure a successful audit.

In her future career, Caroline is eager to leverage her analytical and problem-solving skills to address real-world problems and enhance organizational performance.

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and traveling. She has already travelled to more than 20 countries on four continents and she is hoping to discover even more.
