Paul Jablansky

Paul Jablansky is a managing director, portfolio manager and head of fixed income strategy and investment grade research at The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America.

Prior to joining Guardian in 2014, Paul was head of structured products at Western Asset Management. Prior to that, he held senior roles in structured products at RBS, Banc of America Securities, Citigroup, Salomon Brothers and Goldman Sachs. During his tenure at Banc of America Securities, Paul served as a principal advisor to the House Financial Services Committee and the Senate Banking Committee, and he met with the White House, the Congressional Budget Office, the Federal Reserve and industry groups, including the American Bankers' Association and the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, to help devise solutions to the housing crisis. Paul has more than 30 years of investment experience.

Paul received his B.A. in mathematics from Cornell University in 1983 with a concentration in computer science.
