ORIE Monopoly Team Takes the "Where's the BOOM" Award

The annual Bits On Our Minds (BOOM) exhibition yields several awards. One of them, "Where's the BOOM," reinterpreted the acronym to mean "Brains on our Machines." It was won by Thomas Byuen and Germán Gutiérrez Gallardo for their work on Monopoly. Read more

Peter Frazier joins ORIE faculty

Peter Frazier joined the ORIE faculty after receiving his Ph.D. in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton in 2009. He works on optimal learning, an approach to optimal decision making under uncertainty. Read more
