Mark Zito received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in history from the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Md. in May 2009.

Before arriving at Cornell University as a NROTC Lecturer in June 2015, Mark served aboard three warships, including two Nimitz-class nuclear aircraft carriers, and completed nuclear power training. His responsibilities with the Navy included navigation, large-scale maintenance team management and safe operation of the nuclear power plant.

Mark’s unlimited potential to learn new skill sets and adapt to any situation are ideal for a career in the Naval Service. LT Zito’s transition to Operations Research is designed to validate his extraordinarily technical training and professional experience with his undergraduate credential.
