As a result, she was able to attend The Shanghai Forum where she presented her research to professors and practitioners.

During her summer internship at Citi, she demonstrated the ability to master new programming language fast and build automation tools. In effect, she increased business efficiency by saving 5 business days for the SIE risk model run. Her time at Guotai Jun’an Securities exposed her to diverse industries, where she worked on equity performance analysis by constructing workbook models and creating summaries for monthly reports.

Lizhuo’s student involvement as an undergraduate includes her participation in the Migrant Workers Investigation program, business summer school in Mexico as part of Universitas 21, as well as many experiences in executive research and consulting companies. These experiences have helped develop her communication and time management skills.

As she pursues a graduate financial engineering degree at Cornell, she aims to strengthen her quantitative background and become prepared for a career in commodity, quantitative research, portfolio management, risk management, and other financial areas.
