Kartik Arora earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Polytechnic University of NYU in 2008 in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, he interned with Merrill Lynch for a year. Upon graduation he worked as an analyst at Citigroup for two years. Over the course of two years he was exposed to many different parts of the institutional equity division.

To further enhance his quantitative skills and understanding of financial markets, he joined the Financial Engineering program at Cornell.

In his spare time, Kartik enjoys running and swimming.
