Transcript - M.Eng. Life Outside the Classroom

Outside of studying, on the weekend I'll meet up with some of the other financial engineering students. We usually play some basketball, some soccer.

This year we had an intramural volleyball team in the fall. We made it to the playoffs. And then we lost in the playoffs, but that's OK. We had a really good season.

I'm currently the President of the Cornell Association of Financial Engineering. We meet weekly. We discuss different trading strategies, different things that are going on the market. It's really nice to all meet together and sort of discuss what we're going through, both in terms of interviews and also, things that we're learning.

There are a ton of clubs. Personally, I was involved in the Society of Women Engineers. But there's everything from like chess club, to long-boarding club. There are a lot of dance troupes. There's choir and acapella groups you can get involved into. The saying kind of is if one doesn't already exist and you find enough people that want to make it, you can just make.
