Description

What I Wish They Taught Me in College*
   * Or perhaps I just wasn’t listening . . .

Even for the most gifted, studying Engineering is no cake walk. We struggle to balance our studies and some sort of social life. We bust our backsides to complete our Core Class Requirements, we join clubs and project teams either to find an escape, to pad our resume or heaven forbid, because we actually enjoy the practical application of theory in the physical world. But in the end, how much of what we learn will we really end up using. Sometimes the simplest concepts become the hardest to apply…this brief conversation will focus on some of the common blind spots that you will likely experience in the coming years as a newly graduated Masters in Engineering student.
