Cornell Financial Engineering Manhattan (CFEM) gears up forfall 2009 with enthusiasm and focus. New students enrolled in the Financial Engineering Concentration will be hosted for a career orientation by CFEM and Bloomberg, LLC in NYC on August 20, before heading to Ithaca to begin their first two semesters. These students will pursue internships next summer, and then return to CFEM to complete their degree in the fall of 2010.

In spite of the turbulence experienced in the financial industry over the last year, CFEM will kick off another exciting semester as eager third-semester students begin their course of study on August 27, to prepare them to launch successful Wall Street careers. In addition to their team-based engineering design project that provides students with an opportunity to apply what they've learned to real-life situations, the final semester will be filled with numerous networking opportunities to meet corporate financial services representatives as well as Alumni mentoring sessions.

We are kicking off another semester at CFEM!
