Jackie graduated from Denison University in 2015 with a B.S. in physics and a B.A. in economics, both are quantitative fields that utilize statistical tools to model complex phenomenon in natural science and social science. Jackie was recognized as a member of Physic Honors Society and Economics Honors Society for his achievements in both majors at Denison.

Jackie gained experience in data analytics and project organization through his research and internship experiences. As a research assistant in the Quantum Optics Lab at Denison, Jackie constructed data-visualization programs and computer simulations to analyze large amount of experimental data to determine physical properties of ions for quantum computing. Previously, Jackie worked as a construction coordinator organizing 30 engineering and architecture students from U.S. and China to build a solar house to participate in the Solar Decathlon.

Jackie chose Cornell's Operations Research program because of its combination of quantitative analysis, business strategy, and goal-oriented projects. He hopes to pursue a career in consulting or analytics upon graduation.
