Yiqiao Wang received her Bachelor’s degree in Financial Mathematics with High Distinction from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. During her undergraduate study, she won the James Angell B. Scholar award and University Honors.

Yiqiao gained experience in the financial world during her several internships, where she also developed her quantitative and analytical skills. This summer, she worked for Treasury Investments Market Risk team at Citigroup. During her internship, she used VBA to develop an automation process to reconcile over 20000 investment portfolio and asset liability management positions across two different systems. She also prepared the daily and weekly risk reports in order to monitor the risk positions. In 2013, as an Asset Management Summer Analyst at Guotai Junan Assets Hong Kong, she collected industry data, practiced top-down and bottom-up research methods and built financial models for listed companies to assist valuation process.

Upon graduation, Yiqiao is eager to start her career in equity research or trading. Long term, she would like to join the buy side as a fund manager. In her spare time, Yiqiao enjoys playing the piano, traveling and swimming.
