Charlotte Wang received her bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering with a minor in Chemistry from Vanderbilt University. In her senior project, she worked with two teammates to design and implement a universally accessible and computerized sensor inventory system using VBA and JavaScript for engineering labs, leading to 40% improvement in management efficiency.

After graduation, Charlotte followed her passion for providing optimal solutions to identified problems within the context of an entire organization. While working as a process engineer at Firmenich, she delivered data-driven solutions and designed automated models for multiple projects in areas ranging from capacity optimization to yield improvement and cost saving. Meanwhile, from communicating technical analysis with experts to engaging stakeholders on decision-making processes, she cross-functionally worked with colleagues from different departments and even at different levels in the organization, to achieve optimal results and deliver effective solutions.

Her past diverse industry experience, ranging from consumer packaged goods, chemical, and technology, has helped her developed high learning agility, strong business acumen and a broad repertoire of industry related skills. In the future, Charlotte looks forward to communicating powerful analytical insights and making well-informed recommendations that help an organization operate with greater efficiency and higher competence.
