There he created debt profiles of the firm’s clients and researched potential cost savings. He has also served as a research assistant with Professor Darrell Duffie at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. There he wrote software in Maple to illustrate numerical examples for a research paper on bankruptcy stays.

Tomás entered the Financial Engineering program at Cornell so that he could further build his quantitative skill set and his understanding of financial markets. Upon graduation, Tomás is interested in pursuing a career in trading or asset management.

In his spare time he enjoys boxing and traveling to the world’s beautiful beaches.
