Tingting Du received her bachelor’s degree from Renmin University of China and her master’s degree from New York University. Over the summer, she interned as a quantitative research on developing trading strategies for futures at a proprietary trading firm, Trading
Technologies.

Prior to joining Cornell’s Financial Engineering program, Tingting interned as a strategic research analyst at Guosen Securities. She developed insights into Chinese employment patterns and tracked emerging market equity performance. While working as an Equity Research Analyst at Pingan Securities, she covered the chemical sector. There, she developed valuation models and assessed industrial trends as well as company competitive
advantages.

Upon graduation, Tingting hopes to employ her quantitative skills in developing trading
strategies to various products. In her spare time, she enjoys playing the piano, belly dancing,
skiing and practicing TaeKwonDo.
