Isaac received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia with a double major in Commerce and Mathematics. Through undergraduate coursework, Isaac has studied a broad variety of topics in finance and developed a solid quantitative skill set.

In addition to academic training, Isaac has gained experience in investment banking, trading, investment management and corporate finance through internships. In summer 2015, Isaac interned at UBS as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst, and staffed on product teams (ECM and M&A), sector teams (Financial Institutions, Industrials, Healthcare and TMT) and country team to execute IPO and M&A deals. In summer 2014, Isaac was a Capital Markets Intern at Federal Home Loan Banks-Office of Finance. He rotated through short-term, long-term and callable desks, and acquired extensive understanding of the government-sponsored enterprise debt security market. Prior to that, Isaac interned at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he conducted research on various asset classes, managed client relationships, and assisted his group to provide wealth and investment management service for clients.

At Cornell, Isaac hopes to further his knowledge in quantitative finance and acquire more advanced quantitative skills. Upon graduation, he intends to pursue a career in trading, quantitative research or similar fields where he can apply his interest and skills.
