Biography

Eeshan joined the Operations Research Master of Engineering program at Cornell University in August 2013. He completed his bachelor of mathematics from the University of Waterloo in June, 2013 with majors in pure mathematics, mathematical finance and statistics.

Through the cooperative education program at the University of Waterloo, Eeshan has developed two years of work experience through internships at various companies including Facebook and ITG Canada. He is pursuing the Applied Operations Research concentration, which will allow him to enhance his technical skills and further his goal of solving complex and challenging problems in industry.

Eeshan is passionate about mathematics. During his undergraduate career, he co-founded and was an editor-in-chief of the Waterloo Mathematics Review, an undergraduate journal of mathematics. The Waterloo Mathematics Review is a unique organization of its kind which allows undergraduate students to publish expository mathematics papers. Through his leadership, the Waterloo Mathematics has flourished and now publishes papers from students all across Canada.

In his spare time, Eeshan enjoys playing the guitar and the piano as well as travelling the world.
