Changkai Sun received his bachelor’s degree from Columbia College of Arts and Sciences at George Washington University with a double major in mathematics and economics.

Changkai’s academic background and personal interest in stock investment made him want to learn more about the financial industry. In 2016 summer, Changkai interned at Jufeng Venture Capital as an investment research analyst. He investigated different industrial projects through reading target companies’ annual reports to evaluate the companies’ financial performance. He also conducted industry analyses such as policy conditions, supply and demand, technology barrier and competitors’ status. He also participated several roadshows and due diligence investigations.

Changkai enjoys networking with alumni and learning from professionals. Whenever he speaks with an alumnus, he can learn from their experience and realize how to improve himself. He is also very good at teamwork. When he was doing portfolio strategy project, he was responsible for coding and idea generation. He communicated with his teammates every day to make sure the project was going in the right direction and to made sure to give advice to each other.
