Biography

Belin Beyoglu holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Industrial Engineering and Economics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where she graduated with high distinction in 2009. She had the opportunity to work with The Royal Bank of Scotland in London within the scope of her major qualifying project, providing consulting to the Currency Options Structuring group on how to effectively manage credit risk across their portfolio from different perspectives and at various levels.

In the summer of 2008, Belin worked as a Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs’ Interest Rate Derivatives Operations. As well as contributing to her desk’s daily routine, her duties involved following through the various interest rate products traded and generating reports to provide higher management with an efficient resource to review the desk’s progress. Through her experiences she developed a deeper interest in quantitative methods in Finance which led her to join Cornell University in pursuance of a graduate degree in Financial Engineering.

Upon graduation, Belin plans to work in Fixed Income Trading and Structuring or Asset Management to utilize her qualitative analysis skills along with her quantitative problem solving skills.

In her spare time, Belin enjoys playing the piano, reading and travelling.
