Areas of Interest: Analytics, Data Mining, Process Improvement, Project Management Antong Su received his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Antong Su is passionate about analytics and expects to apply his strong quantitative skills to improve the field he works in. Antong had one-year full-time experience with Williams-Sonoma, where he was responsible for improving the operation productivity across the facility through data gathering and analysis. He led some of the process improvement projects, including increasing the productivity of inventory control stations, standardizing operating procedure and analyzing order cycle time.

As a project specialist in his Undergraduate Capstone Project, Antong and his team developed a Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) System for Interface, Inc. Antong had a leading role of designing the production simulation application that could generate production scenarios for over 20,000 SKUs. The S&OP System predicted savings of $2.2 million for the first quarter of 2016. Finally, Antong’s team won the first place out of total 28 teams.

Antong is eager to pursue a career in the field of analytics where he can exhibit his creative problem solving skills and professionalism. Besides his career aspiration, he is extremely interested in aviation and travel.
