Visitors and Postdocs
Jefferson Huang joined the School of Operations Research and Information Engineering as a Postdoctoral Associate in August 2016. He received his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and Statistics in 2016 from Stony Brook University under Eugene A. Feinberg. Before that, he received a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley in 2008, and a M.S. in Transportation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2011. He also spent the summer of 2015 with the Smarter Energy Research Institute at IBM’s T. J. Watson Research Center. His research interests include Markov decision processes and stochastic games, and their application to inventory control.
