Students must meet both College and Major requirements for good academic standing as they progress through the engineering curriculum.
Freshmen engineering students must have:
- At least 12 credits, including at least two courses in mathematics, science, or engineering
- At least C- in the mathematics course
- A semester GPA of greater that or equal to 2.0
- No failing (F), unsatisfactory (U), or incomplete (INC) grades.
Second-semester freshmen and first-semester sophomores must have:
- At least 12 credits per semester in courses that meet engineering degree requirements
- At least C- in the mathematics course
- A semester GPA of greater that or equal to 2.0
- No failing (F), unsatisfactory (U), or incomplete (INC) grades.
ORE Major requirements for good standing:
- Cumulative GPA of greater than or equal to 2.0
- Cumulative GPA of greater than or equal to 2.0 in required Operations Research and Engineering courses
- At least C- in ENGRD 2110, ENGRD 2700, and all required Operations Research and Engineering major courses
- Satisfactory progress (a minimum of 12 credits per semester)
- No failing grades.
